I enjoy collaging dried orchid petals into my abstract works, because I can manipulate the shapes, glaze color over them, impress designs into them . . . . and I still am discovering what I can create with them. I gave this painting a warmer tonality than I usually use, keeping the image simple yet playful with markings and dabs of paint. Happy! Happy! Enjoy!
